It’s another week over, and it has been quite a week! Last Tuesday saw the launch of our Annual General Meeting where all UK Rug Doctor staff were involved in a full day of events. From the hard workers on our production line to our top honchos from the States. We had an epic few days, and our special guests from Texas, the Rug Doctor CEO and his cohort for the trip, RD’s Finance Director.

We were very well looked after, fed, and watered by Hilton Avisford Park Hotel, and what a great excuse to dress up and have our own awards ceremony? A mind-blowing magician  who could put David Blaine to shame and the guys from GoTo Events  who kept the team spirit up with a fantastic CSI Experience! 

The day began with the usual talks and discussions by each department. After many coffees and pastries, we had a fabulous lunch, and then… two men in balaclava’s armed with revolvers burst into the boardroom and hijacked our Managing Director! Poor Kuldip. Not your typical day in the office.

The teams had to solve all the forensic puzzles and sudoku to crack the code… finance department could have kept up with this one! Finally, Kuldip was released from his hostage situation, but only after the puzzling code was solved and everyone got dressed up for the theme ‘Dress to Impress’!

The awards were very well deserved, and here, at the Marketing Department, we even won ‘Department of the Year’! 

The evening went off with a fabulous meal, vocals from an incredible duo, and a fantastic evening ahead where all staff members (old and new) met up and got to put a face to the name.
