The Wide Track machine is ideal if you have a larger home or premises. It has a wider brush and vacuum path than the standard Rug Doctor, as well as larger cleaning solution and recovery tanks. This means that there’s more time between refills and the machine will cover twice the area of carpet in the same time. It’s estimated to clean twice as fast as the standard Rug Doctor.

It takes around two to four hours for carpets to dry after a Rug Doctor clean. However, this depends on ventilation to the room, whether the room is unheated and the outside temperature.

For self-service outlets, the machines are serviced and cleaned regularly. Machines returned in a dirty condition can be subject to a £10 penalty charge.

The standard Rug Doctor folds down to 25″ (63 cms) high x 20″(53 cms) x 11″ (28 cms). The Wide Track Rug Doctor folds down to 28″ (71 cms) high x 20″ (51 cms) x 13″ (33 cms).

Both the standard Rug Doctor and Wide Track machine can fit inside small hatchbacks and medium-sized cars. If you place the machine on the rear seats, use a waterproof cover over the seats.
